Keys of the Kingdom: Accessing Hidden Spiritual Knowledge and Dominion
The kingdom of God contains hidden access points, and believers who discover them will walk in realms of protection, provision, and dominion that Satan himself cannot control.
God has embedded within creation spiritual access points — keys — that govern dominion, presence, and protection. These keys were designed for believers to discover and activate, yet most remain untouched because of corrupted knowledge, ignorance, and the enemy's deliberate strategy to keep God's people uninformed. Understanding how these keys operate — and who holds them — changes everything.
Teaching Overview
- Number one, what he did was he gave keys.
- Praise and joyful noise are the access point to the prophetic realm where God creates and acts.
- Satan's power is limited to temptation and deception — he has access but no authority.
- Knowledge is the most powerful weapon in creation, and Satan's entire strategy is to corrupt it.
- Believers must learn to resist the devil personally rather than depend solely on angelic intervention or deliverance ministry.
Key Distinctions
| God's Perspective on Reality | Human Perspective on Reality | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The actual, authoritative way creation operates across all dimensions | A one-dimensional interpretation of material existence |
| Scope | Encompasses the visible and invisible, material and immaterial | Limited largely to what can be physically observed |
| How it handles emotions | Recognises emotions as real, immaterial forces that affect the physical | Tends to reduce emotions to chemical imbalance or dismisses them |
| Authority | Does not depend on human agreement or perception to function | Requires sensory confirmation to accept something as real |
| Implication for the believer | What God has ordained will work regardless of whether you can see it | Limits the believer's expectation to what natural circumstance suggests |
| Knowledge from God | Corrupted Knowledge from Satan | |
|---|---|---|
| Origin | Ordained before the foundation of the earth for the believer's glory | God-originated knowledge that Satan corrupted through his own fall |
| Effect | Leads to glorifying God and accessing His kingdom | Produces death, deception, and spiritual blindness |
| Example | Moses turning his staff into a cobra by God's instruction | Pharaoh's magicians performing the same sign through corrupted knowledge |
| Who controls it | God — the possessor of all original knowledge | Satan — who stole and perverted what God made |
| Result when received rightly | Eyes aligned with God's perspective; access to hidden wisdom | Eyes opened to see through Satan's lens rather than God's |
| Authority | Access | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Legal power to command, control, or take life | The ability to enter a space or dimension |
| Who holds it | God alone gives and takes life; believers carry dominion | Satan retains access as a cherubim even after his fall |
| Satan's position | Satan has no authority — he was stripped | Satan has access to believers in this world as long as they remain in it |
| Implication | Satan cannot take your life, harm you directly, or override God's will | Satan can tempt and try you even if he cannot destroy you |
| Believer's response | Walk in the dominion God gave Adam and restored in Christ | Resist the devil — he will flee; do not live in fear of his presence |
| Deliverance | Complete Liberation | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The casting out of a demon | Freedom from demonic influence through the Word of God taking root |
| Duration | Temporary if not followed by spiritual formation | Sustained — the believer can resist if the demon returns |
| Risk if incomplete | A cast-out demon can return with seven worse spirits | No ground for the enemy to reclaim if the Word fills the house |
| Who taught this | Jesus Himself — not Paul, not John | Jesus Himself |
| Goal | Freedom from the demon's current grip | The believer's own power to resist — making deliverance the beginning, not the end |
| Angels' Protective Role | Believers' Power to Resist Demons | |
|---|---|---|
| Design | To keep believers in all their ways, expedite God's purposes, and defend when they slip | To tremble over demons, scorpions, and every enemy through personal authority |
| When activated | By God's charge over His angels | By the believer choosing to resist |
| God's intention | Angels are not meant to be the permanent solution to demonic attack | Believers are designed to personally overcome — this territory is also theirs |
| Limitation | Not every situation calls for angelic warfare on behalf of the believer | Requires the believer to act — resistance must be chosen |
| Managing the World | Controlling the World According to God's Will | |
|---|---|---|
| What it means | Existing within creation without exercising full dominion | Actively subduing the earth and exercising the key of dominion as God commanded |
| Adam's position | Adam managed the world — he stayed in the garden | Adam never fulfilled this calling — he did not go outside the garden to subdue the earth |
| God's command | "Be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth" | Dominion was the assignment, not residency in the garden |
| Result of neglect | The key of dominion remained unclaimed | Satan seized the opportunity to take what Adam forfeited |
The Prophetic Realm and the Power of Joyful Noise
- The prophetic realm is the realm of noise — it is the atmosphere of consistent shock at what God can do.
- The throne of God is the one location in heaven where there is no lifting of hands, only noise — two angels and twenty-four elders cry "Holy, holy" in perpetual response to what God is doing on earth.
- Noise is the language of heaven's throne room, and making a joyful noise on earth connects a believer directly to that dimension.
"Whenever there is noise, whenever there is noise, you are responding to the language of the whole list of all these of heaven. If you want to enter heaven, phrases, you have no noise. Noise sends you directly to God, directly. This is why Satan never wants you to have a joyful noise."
The Walls of Jericho and the Breakthrough of Praise
- God instructed Israel not to fight Jericho with swords or weapons — the breakthrough came through praise climaxing in a shout at the last trumpet.
- When a problem is brought into the atmosphere where God is through praise, it cannot stand — sickness, lack, and every stronghold falls.
- The shout at Jericho was not incidental; it was the activation of a spiritual key that brought down what natural force could not touch.
"When you bring a problem to the place where God is, if it's sickness, it would be huge."
God Is the God of All Creation — Not Some
- Everything that exists — visible and invisible, good and seemingly bad — was created by God; nothing is outside His sovereignty.
- Some things became corrupted not because God made them corrupt but because those placed in charge of them became corrupt.
- Even what the enemy intends for harm is still subject to God's purpose — all things work together for good for those called according to His purpose.
"Even those who are bad, they are still serving His purpose even though they don't know they are serving His purpose."
Access Points in Creation and in Man
- When God created the visible and invisible, He embedded access points — gates and doors — throughout creation, and also within man himself.
- Jesus does not speak to the believer as a mere person but as a location — "I am knocking at your door" — because there is an access point within the human spirit.
- God has a key to the dimension of the human spirit, but the access point of the heart belongs to the individual — salvation requires the person to open that door.
"Even though God loves you, He cannot save you outside of what you want, you have to open the door for Him to get in. If you allow the King to come in, He will dwell with you and your whole atmosphere will shift, not because of you, but who has come to inhabit you."
The First Key: Dominion Given to Adam
- Genesis 1:26 reveals the first key God placed in creation — the key of dominion given to Adam, which is the key to the earth and to whoever controls this world.
- Adam was in the garden managing it, but he never activated his dominion — the garden was God's garden, not Adam's domain; his assignment was to go out and subdue the earth.
- Adam traded the key of dominion to the devil, not through direct combat, but through an exchange — because everything spiritual must be transferred, nothing spiritual can be obtained without an exchange.
"This is the key to earth. This is the key that whoever possesses this key will control this world."
Satan's Nature, His Fall, and His Strategy
- Satan fell because he corrupted his own knowledge — he turned his gaze from God to himself, became proud of his beauty, and that single inward turn was enough for God to cast him out.
- Satan carries death inside himself as a sentence from God, and his entire strategy with Adam and Eve was to transfer that death to them so that God's justice would demand He act against them as He had acted against Satan.
- Satan has no authority to take life — he can only tempt and deceive; his power is the power of a liar, not a king.
"Satan fell because he corrupted his own knowledge. The Bible says, you corrupted your wisdom, you corrupted your knowledge, you yourself, you corrupted yourself. Because you stopped looking to me, you started looking to yourself."
Knowledge: The Most Powerful Weapon in Creation
- God warned Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge not because knowledge is evil but because corrupted knowledge — knowledge received outside of God's timing and order — leads to death.
- Satan understood that knowledge is the most powerful thing God ever ordained, and he positioned himself as the gatekeeper of knowledge to deceive humanity into thinking he is its source.
- God told Adam not to lean on his own understanding because someone before him — Satan — had done exactly that and was disqualified by a thought alone.
"Satan is sitting by knowledge because he knows now, the most powerful weapon is knowledge. The most powerful thing is not prayer. The most powerful thing that God ever ordained is knowledge."
God's Hidden Wisdom Ordained Before the World
- First Corinthians 2 reveals that God has wisdom hidden from the foundation of the earth — not for His glory alone but for the glory of the believer.
- This wisdom is not the wisdom of this age or of its rulers; it is a mystery that God ordained before creation for those who would receive it.
- God cannot be glorified without a man on earth — He glorifies Himself through believers so that they, in turn, glorify Him.
"We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the wisdom hidden from the foundation of the earth for our glory."
The Cherubim Key and Satan's Limited Access
- The key to the manifest presence of God — the kabod — is the cherubim; God flies on the wings of the cherubim, and His throne is literally made of them.
- Satan was a cherubim and therefore retained access to the garden of God on earth even after his fall — but he was stripped of his sword; he had access without power.
- Because Satan was a cherubim without authority, his only available strategy in the garden was deception through corrupted knowledge — not force.
"Satan has access to the garden because he's also a cherubim... But Satan was the only cherubim without a sword. Everyone else had a sword. He was the only one who had no power. He was stripped."
Jesus: The New Access Point Who Confused Satan
- Jesus declared, "I am the light that has come into the world," entering creation not on the wings of a cherubim but through human flesh — a method Satan had never seen and could not track.
- Satan knew Jesus had come to earth but could not find Him spiritually; he had to rely on human informants — the magi — to locate Him, revealing the shallowness of his actual knowledge.
- John the Baptist was not the light but came to bear witness to the light — the light shining in darkness that darkness could not comprehend, because God had outmaneuvered Satan entirely.
"Satan is looking for him, he doesn't wear easy... Satan is waiting for a human being to lead him to Jesus. He can't find him spiritually."
Moses, the Magicians, and Corrupted Knowledge in Action
- The knowledge Moses received from God — turning a staff into a cobra — was not new to Pharaoh's magicians; they could perform the same sign because the knowledge itself originated with God, though Satan had corrupted it and made it available through occult practice.
- The difference was not the sign but the possessor of power — Moses' snake swallowed the magicians' snakes, demonstrating that God owns the original knowledge and His version is always greater.
- Satan has built his influence by making himself appear to be the source of supernatural power, when in truth everything he offers is a corruption of what God created.
"The devil has robbed you. And as perverted, what is of God that God even the art of how to do that is lost. Nobody knows how it's done anymore."
Resisting the Devil: God's Design for the Believer
- Deliverance — casting out a demon — is the beginning of liberation, not the completion of it; Jesus Himself warned that a cast-out demon can return with seven worse spirits if the person is not grounded in the Word.
- God's design is not for angels to be the permanent solution to demonic attack — angels are charged to keep believers in their ways, expedite God's purposes, and defend when they slip, but the believer has been given personal authority to resist.
- The answer to demonic pressure is resistance — "resist the devil and he will flee from you" — because this territory belongs to the believer, not to the enemy.
"Always remember, the liverance is good. But we say the liverance that is the complete activity... If a spirit is cast out and you're implanted in a place where the word of God can enter you, you can learn the ways of God. Now you don't only have the livrants of freedom from a demon, if a demon comes back, you can resist."
Key Definitions
Keys of the Kingdom — Spiritual access points and mechanisms hidden within creation by God that, when discovered and activated, grant believers entry into realms of dominion, presence, protection, and provision.
Dominion — The key given to Adam in Genesis 1:26 — the God-ordained authority to control the earth according to God's will, not merely manage what exists within it.
Joyful Noise — The language of heaven's throne room, where angels cry "holy" in perpetual shock at God's acts on earth; making this noise on earth connects a believer directly to the realm where God creates.
Corrupted Knowledge — God-originated knowledge that Satan perverted through his own rebellion; it produces the same outward signs as divine knowledge but leads to death rather than glory.
Cherubim — The angelic order that guards and carries the manifest presence of God; the throne of God is made of cherubim, and any encounter with God's tangible presence comes through them — which is also why Satan, as a fallen cherubim, retained access to God's garden on earth.
Complete Liberation — The state beyond initial deliverance in which a believer is so grounded in the Word of God that when a demon returns, the believer can personally resist and expel it — making angelic or ministerial intervention unnecessary.
Key Takeaways
- Noise is the access code to the prophetic realm — Making a joyful noise is not mere worship expression; it is a spiritual key that sends a believer directly into the throne room atmosphere where God acts and creates.
- Adam traded the key of dominion through an exchange, not a battle — Every spiritual transfer requires an exchange, and Satan's strategy was never force — it was deception designed to get Adam to hand over what he never even fully understood he possessed.
- Satan is a carrier of death with access but no authority — Understanding this distinction frees the believer from fear; Satan can tempt and try, but he cannot take life, override God's will, or destroy what God has hidden.
- Knowledge is the most powerful thing God ever ordained, and Satan's entire operation depends on keeping believers ignorant of it — The greatest threat to the enemy is a believer who understands spiritual reality from God's perspective.
- Deliverance is the beginning, not the end — resistance is the goal — God's design is for believers to carry enough of the Word that when the enemy returns, they do not need rescue — they resist, and he flees.
Reflection Questions
- Where in your life have you been making noise — praise, worship, crying out to God — and where have you been silent? What has that silence cost you spiritually?
- Like Adam, are you managing the territory God has given you rather than exercising dominion over it? What would it look like to move from management to dominion in your calling, home, or sphere of influence?
- What areas of spiritual knowledge have you avoided, dismissed, or been afraid of — and is it possible that fear or ignorance is giving the enemy an advantage over you in those areas?
- Have you treated deliverance or prayer as the finish line rather than the starting point? What practical steps can you take this week to build the Word into your life so that your resistance becomes your first response?
- When you encounter something supernatural — in ministry, in culture, or in your own experience — do you evaluate it by its source and its fruit, or by how familiar or unfamiliar it looks? What would it take to develop a more biblically grounded discernment?
