The Secret Source of Satan's Strength Revealed

The Secret Source of Satan's Strength Revealed

Teaching by Prophet Lovy L. Elias · Watch on YouTube · 11 December 2025

Stop fueling the devil with acknowledgment — and start crediting God with everything.

Satan's greatest weakness is not power or authority — it is the desperate need to be acknowledged. The moment you stop giving the devil a platform, you cut off the very fuel that sustains his operation in your life. This teaching unlocks a divine revelation drawn from Genesis, the life of Adam, and the ministry of Jesus: God Himself has never once acknowledged the devil, and neither should you.

Teaching Overview

  1. Satan's secret source of strength is acknowledgment — every time you give him attention, you empower him.
  2. God never acknowledged the devil when creating man or when confronting Adam's sin — and neither should you.
  3. Adam, unlike Eve, was never deceived — he is the prime example of passing through sin without being defiled by it.
  4. You are born from above, where Satan was already cast down — stop acknowledging what is beneath you.
  5. Redirect all acknowledgment toward God's sovereignty and redemptive plan, because all things work together for your good.

Satan's Greatest Weakness: The Need to Be Acknowledged

  • Satan's desire from the beginning was to be seen, noticed, and recognized — acknowledgment is what he is.
  • God never informed Adam and Eve that an enemy was in the garden, because God understood that acknowledging Satan would give him power.
  • The devil does not care whether the attention he receives is positive or negative — he is an egomaniac and a narcissist who simply wants to be seen.

"What you are Satan is acknowledgement. He said from the beginning he wanted to be seen. From the beginning he wanted to be noticed. From the beginning, from the beginning, he wanted to be the person."

God Never Acknowledges the Devil

  • When God came to Adam after the fall, He did not mention the devil, did not ask how Adam was deceived, and did not acknowledge who was on the tree.
  • God addressed only Adam's disobedience — "Did you eat of the tree I commanded you not to eat?" — as though the devil did not exist.
  • God's silence about the devil is not ignorance; it is a divine refusal to give Satan the recognition he craves.

"God who sees everything is not coming to tell you, Adam, how did you let the devil lie to you? God shows up as if the devil doesn't exist — why? Because God does not acknowledge the devil."

You Are Fueling the Devil With Your Words

  • Every time you credit Satan for the calamities in your life, you fuel him — because the devil wants to be acknowledged for every single trouble.
  • Your words are anointed and have effect in both the visible and invisible realm; the devil is a dead person you keep resurrecting with your words.
  • Stop acknowledging demons, stop giving credit to the devil, and stop speaking his name over every situation — you are empowering what has already fallen.

"You are fueling the devil. Because the devil wants attention. And every attention you give him, it empowers him. His strength does not come from the anointing. His strength does not come from the presence of God. He is an egomaniac. He is a narcissist. He will do everything to attract attention to him."

All Things Work for Your Good — Not the Devil's Credit

  • Romans 8:28 declares that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose — everything in your life is an orchestration of God.
  • When God is orchestrating something for your elevation, giving credit to Satan for what happens is a direct misattribution of divine sovereignty.
  • God did not ordain the devil to destroy your life; He ordained the devil to highlight your life — darkness only exists to make light shine.

"God is orchestrating something and you are giving credit to somebody who has nothing to do with what God is orchestrating for your elevation."

Adam: The Prime Example of Separating Yourself From Sin

  • The Bible declares in 1 Timothy 2:13–14 that Adam was not deceived — the transgression belonged to the woman, not the man.
  • Sin entered the world through Adam, yet sin did not defile Adam — he passed through it as a conduit without being touched by it, just as the Second Adam took on sin without becoming a sinner.
  • Adam never acknowledged the devil in his response to God; he said only, "The woman whom Thou gavest to me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat" — a conscious refusal to give the serpent recognition.

"It is possible to pass by sin, and it doesn't affect you. But the devil wants you to believe otherwise."

You Are Born From Above — Satan Is Beneath You

  • Before Christ, humanity were God's created beings; through Christ, believers became the seed of God — born from above, not merely formed from below.
  • Satan was cast down from heaven before your realm as a born-again believer even began — he does not exist in the realm from which you were born.
  • Condemnation is the devil's tool — it is a resurrection of a dead devil in your life, attempting to drag you back to a kingdom you have already left.

"You are born from above. And the time that you are born from above, Satan did not exist above. He was already cast down. Why are you acknowledging what is beneath you?"

Because You Are Anointed, You Can Touch Defiled Things Without Being Defiled

  • The Apostle Paul demonstrated that all food belongs to God — eating food dedicated to idols does nothing to the believer who is not mentally captive, because the devil has never planted and never sold.
  • The concern with idol food was never spiritual contamination but an acknowledgment problem — those who avoided it were acknowledging that the devil had ownership over what God created.
  • Jesus sat with sinners, was touched by prostitutes, and was never defiled — everyone who touched Him was changed, because He acknowledged what was within Him, not what surrounded Him.

"Because you are anointed, you are anointed to touch defiled things so you can cleanse them."

Key Definitions

Acknowledgment — The act of recognizing, crediting, or giving attention to the devil; the very fuel and source of Satan's strength in your life.

Fueling the devil — Empowering Satan through words, attention, and credit given to him for calamities — the spiritual equivalent of resurrecting a dead person with your speech.

Transgression — As used in 1 Timothy 2:14, the specific act of deception-led sin; Eve was in the transgression because she was deceived, while Adam was not deceived and therefore did not transgress in the same sense.

Non-deception — Adam's spiritual state during the fall; he ate the fruit not because he was deceived by the serpent but because of his wife — making him a conduit of sin without being defiled by it.

Born from above — The new birth reality of every believer in Christ; being spiritually generated from the realm where Satan was already cast down, making the devil categorically beneath the believer.

Sonship — The relational standing of believers through Christ, distinct from mere creation; not metaphorical fatherhood as Israel experienced, but a biological-spiritual generation from God through the Second Adam.

Key Takeaways

  • Acknowledgment is Satan's fuel — Every word, prayer, or conversation that credits the devil empowers him, because his strength comes entirely from being seen and recognized.
  • God's model is non-acknowledgment — From Creation to the confrontation in the garden, God never once addressed the devil's role, focusing only on obedience and redemption — this is the pattern believers must follow.
  • Adam's non-deception is your blueprint — Adam passed through the fall without being defiled because he was never deceived; in the same way, you can walk through sin, darkness, and trial without being defined by them.
  • You are born from above Satan's realm — As a believer, your origin is the realm from which Satan was already expelled; you are not fighting an equal — you are looking down at something beneath you.
  • All things are God's orchestration — Because Romans 8:28 is true, every difficulty, opposition, and trial in your life is part of God's sovereign plan for your elevation — stop crediting the devil for what God is doing.

Reflection Questions

  1. In your current struggles — financial, relational, physical — are you crediting the devil more than you are acknowledging God's sovereign orchestration? What would it look like to stop giving him that platform?
  2. What specific words do you regularly speak that are resurrecting and empowering what God has already defeated in your life? What would it take to stop speaking them?
  3. Adam's conscious refusal to acknowledge the serpent — even while confessing what he did — is presented as the correct spiritual posture. Does your prayer life and conversation reflect this same refusal, or are you regularly naming and focusing on the enemy?
  4. You are born from above, where Satan does not exist. Are you living as someone who is above the devil, or are you treating him as a neighbour, an equal, or a constant threat? What belief would need to change?
  5. The teaching reveals that Paul could eat idol food freely while Daniel fasted from the king's table — both out of their own revelation. What laws have you created for yourself that are rooted in fear and acknowledgment of the devil rather than faith in God's total ownership of all things?

Prayers and Declarations

Opening Prayer

"Father, in the name of Jesus, your name is lifted. We thank you all Lord for your goodness and your kindness. We thank you that you remain the same. That your hand is mildly upon us. We thank you, Father, that you never change. That you remain the same eternally. Father, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that Lord, You will sanctify us, purify us, that we may receive of you today, the crisis, the messes, the blessings that you have ordained for us. Reveal yourself amongst us today. Show us your glory, your power. Reveal yourself unto us all, Lord. In the name of Jesus and everybody said, Amen!"

"I decree and declare upon everybody that is hearing this word. You will shine. You will shine. Because God ordained it to be so."
