The Tip of Your Tongue: Establishment, Faith, and the Power of Prophetic Words
Your deliverance, elevation, and transformation are already at the tip of your tongue — but you must first be established before you can release them.
Believers are not powerless — they are often simply unestablished. Before faith can operate, before spiritual authority can be exercised, and before prophetic words can produce results, a child of God must first be grounded in the Word and ways of God. This teaching walks through the divinely ordered progression from believing God, to being established, to prospering through prophetic alignment — and reveals why skipping stages is costing the Body of Christ its power.
Teaching Overview
- Number one: to be established before you can become powerful
- Number two: believe his prophets, so shall you prosper
Key Distinctions
| Belief | Faith | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Taking God at His Word with no evidence | Substance of what God has prepared — receiving the impossible and finding what God has preserved |
| When it operates | Before any evidence is present | After belief has been proven through testing |
| What it requires | Accepting God's Word as true regardless of circumstances | Prior establishment through believing |
| How it is tested | When everything around you contradicts what God has spoken | When you have lost everything and everyone has turned against you |
| Its relationship to establishment | Believing God produces establishment | Faith cannot be entered into without first believing |
| What it produces | Stability and grounding in God | Power, manifestation, and entrance into the realms of God's glory |
| False Prophet | Fake Prophet | |
|---|---|---|
| What they are | A real prophet operating under a wrong spirit | Someone with zero prophetic gifting pretending to be a prophet |
| Prophetic capacity | Genuine prophetic ability present | No prophetic ability whatsoever |
| Biblical example | The prophets of Baal — God still called them prophets | No equivalent — they are simply counterfeits |
| The danger | Speaks what pleases rather than what God is saying | Deceives through imitation with no spiritual substance |
| Effect on the believer | Robs you by building you up without increasing your capacity to maintain what is spoken | Produces no genuine spiritual result |
| Words | Sacrifice | |
|---|---|---|
| What they express | The spirit — they carry spiritual weight and deliver substance | An act that communicates what words alone cannot |
| How God responds | Words are heard and received | Sacrifice speaks louder and gets God's attention more powerfully |
| Biblical evidence | A prophet's words deliver substance to those who receive them | God gave His Son — a sacrifice — not merely a declaration, to save humanity |
| When they are most powerful | When spoken from the realm of faith by one sent by God | When offered in the darkest and most impossible moments |
| Praise in Good Times | Sacrifice of Praise in Difficult Times | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Thanking God for visible blessings and provision | Praising God when every natural reason to praise is gone |
| Its function | Good, but may not produce power if driven only by emotion | Becomes a weapon — a prophetic declaration of victory |
| What it communicates to God | Gratitude for what has already come | Agreement with what God has spoken despite contradicting circumstances |
| Biblical example | General congregational worship | Paul and Silas at midnight in chains; Israel marching around Jericho |
| Its prophetic dimension | Limited — circumstances confirm the praise | High — praise declares victory before it is seen, contradicting the natural realm |
Tongues as a Spiritual Language with Levels and Dimensions
- Tongues is not merely freestyle expression — it operates in levels and dimensions based on spiritual capacity.
- As a believer matures spiritually, tongues becomes a strategic, purposeful language with its own alphabet and means of communication.
- There are distinct categories: the tongues of angels, the tongue God Himself speaks, the tongues of men, and the tongue of the heart of men — a language given to humanity to access God directly.
"9-1 prayer to God is not Father in the name of Jesus. There is a language that God responds to faster than your English."
Language as Access to God's Heart
- Language is access — those who know someone's heart know how to speak to them in a way that produces response.
- God has a language of His heart, and learning it changes the nature and effectiveness of communication with Him.
- The prophetic school is designed to go deep into these levels of spiritual language in a way that will radically change how believers communicate with God.
"Language is access to somebody's heart. There is things that I respond to. They only those who know me, they know how to say it and I will respond to it."
The System God Has Ordained for His Power to Operate
- The power of God does not function simply because a believer prays frequently — there is a divine formula that activates the glory and power of God.
- The scriptural foundation is 2 Chronicles 20:20: believe God to be established, believe His prophets to prosper.
- God did not call His children to formulate their own way — He came to show them the way, and many are at a disadvantage because they choose what feels good rather than what fits God.
"Just because you agree with something doesn't make it right and just because you don't like something, doesn't make it wrong."
Being Established: The Mandatory Foundation Before Power
- It is impossible to operate in the power, glory, and might of God without first being established.
- A tree's strength is not measured by its height but by the depth of its roots — shallow believers can appear tall in years and gifts yet remain entirely unestablished.
- Establishment means standing on ground that does not shift — double-mindedness and decisions driven by feelings are indicators of a lack of establishment.
"It is impossible for you to work in the power of God, in the glories of God, in the might of God, if you are not established."
Believing God vs. Accepting God: The First Stage
- Accepting God and believing God are two different things — Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness.
- Belief requires taking God at His Word with no supporting evidence — it is not blind faith but a grounded response to what God has said.
- Faith is not faith and faith is not believing, but you cannot enter into faith without first believing.
"You cannot enter into faith without first believing."
Faith Is Only Known When Tested
- Faith is not known when things are good — it is only revealed when everything has gone wrong, when loved ones have betrayed, and when God's Word is contradicted by every surrounding circumstance.
- God always speaks to believers at the most inconvenient time, declaring things that contradict the current situation — when sick, He says healed; when poor, He declares abundance.
- Everything God speaks to a believer will be shaken — the shaking is not punishment but the process by which belief is proven and faith is produced.
"It is when you are tested that your love for God is evident. Not when you worship Him, you lift your hands all that is good. It is easy to do. But through difficult times, it is when this matters."
Christians Have Skipped Stages
- Many believers claim to operate in faith while God is asking where their believing is — because it is in believing that establishment is formed.
- Skipping the believing phase means claiming faith without having proven oneself in the foundational stage that makes faith possible.
- Hyper-spirituality without proper establishment leads believers to enter spiritual battles they are not equipped to win — going to war with a butter knife.
"Christians have skipped stages. We think we are operating in the realm of faith yet God is saying, where is your believing first? Because it is in your believing that you are established."
God Will Not Back You Where He Did Not Send You
- A child of God does not go looking for the devil — unauthorized spiritual battles increase the opposition against a believer.
- Spiritual authority is not claimed by zeal but earned through establishment and assignment.
- God will never back up a believer where He did not send them — going beyond one's current spiritual qualification invites attacks that cannot be defeated at that stage.
"God will never back you up where he did not send you."
Spiritual Capacity Must Match Prosperity
- Prosperity in the kingdom of God is measured by spiritual capacity and the maturity of the soul — not wealth alone.
- When material wealth exceeds spiritual capacity, a believer cannot maintain what they have been given — when a storm comes, it will be lost.
- God's intention is that substance delivered to a believer is balanced with where they are spiritually, so that what is given can be sustained.
"Prosperity in the kingdom of God should be measured by your spiritual capacity, by where your soul is established. Your wealth also should be balanced to what you are spiritually."
The Prophet's Role in Prosperity
- What makes a believer prosper is a prophet — because the prophet speaks from the realm of faith, not to build faith, but to reveal what God has already set in place.
- When a prophet ministers prophetically, he is delivering substance — not inspiring possibility, but revealing what already exists in the spirit for the one receiving.
- A prophet who speaks prosperity over a believer without building their capacity to maintain it has robbed them — speaking to please rather than to prepare.
"When a prophet is ministering to you prophetically, he is delivering substances to you. But if you are not mature, you will say they are good words."
Your Deliverance Is at the Tip of Your Tongue
- A believer's elevation, deliverance, increase, and transformation are at the tip of somebody's tongue — and also at the tip of their own.
- Things that are beyond a believer's capacity belong to the prophet; things within their capacity belong to them — both are active forces for change.
- What is not used remains dormant; what is activated and entered into becomes something a believer can consistently produce.
"Your elevation, your deliverance, your increase, your transformation, is at the tip of somebody's tongue."
God Does Not Fix You So You Can Keep Asking
- When God heals or delivers a believer, He plants in them the capacity to produce the same thing for others — because every seed is expected to produce after its kind.
- God does not repeatedly intervene in the same area so that a believer keeps depending on intervention — He acts so the believer becomes a carrier and producer.
- There are things that are not up to God and not up to a prophet — they are within a believer's own authority and responsibility.
"He does not fix you so that you can continue to ask for something. He does something so that you can now become the carrier and the producer of that something."
Signs, Sacrifice, and the Limits of Words
- Signs and tokens speak louder to God than words — because if words alone were sufficient, God would not have sacrificed His Son to secure humanity's forgiveness.
- Words are powerful because they express the spirit, but sacrifice speaks louder, gets God's attention more powerfully, and accomplishes what words alone cannot.
- For every situation, there are specific actions God expects — not just prayer words, but strategic spiritual acts.
"If words were powerful, too God, then God would not kill his son in order to save us. It means a sacrifice says forgive me more than words can ever say forgive me."
The Sacrifice of Praise in the Darkest Hour
- Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25, chained and awaiting execution, chose to offer a sacrifice of praise at midnight — when their situation was at its worst.
- Praise in good times is good, but it may not produce power — praise becomes a sacrifice only when there is no natural reason to offer it.
- When the children of Israel stood before Jericho with no weapons strategy, God instructed them to march and sing praise — because in that context, praise had become a weapon.
"When you feel defeated, when everything has turned against you, when you have no reason to praise God and you are able to praise God now your praise has become a sacrifice."
Praise as Prophetic Declaration and Agreement with God
- Praise is prophetic because it declares victory — when a believer praises God while broke, they are declaring agreement with what God has spoken over their finances.
- Praising God in a contrary circumstance is an act of faith — it means the believer has seen and received what was spoken, contradicting the natural realm.
- Every weapon God has given is strategic — praise, tongues, declaration — and each must be used consciously, in the right time and way.
"Praise is prophetic because it declares victory. You see if God comes and tells you I have blessed you when you are broke. When you praise him when you are broke it means you have seen and you have received what is said to you."
Key Definitions
Establishment — Being grounded and fortified in God's Word and the protocols of heaven so that one's faith, authority, and spiritual capacity can function without being shaken by circumstances.
Believing God — Taking God at His Word with no supporting evidence, entirely separate from and prior to operating in faith; the stage of spiritual growth that produces establishment.
Faith — The substance of what God has already prepared — not blind trust, but the capacity to receive the impossible, find what is hidden, and access what God has preserved; it cannot be entered without first believing.
False Prophet — A real prophet with genuine prophetic gifting who is operating under a wrong spirit and serving a false god, as with the prophets of Baal.
Fake Prophet — Someone with no prophetic gifting whatsoever who is pretending to be a prophet.
Sacrifice of Praise — Praise offered to God when there is no natural reason to praise — when circumstances are darkest and everything has turned against the believer; at this point praise becomes a weapon and a prophetic declaration of victory.
Key Takeaways
- Establishment must precede power — Without being grounded in God's Word and ways, the power of God cannot flow through a believer, no matter how long they have been saved or how many gifts they operate in.
- Believing God is the stage before faith — Many believers have skipped the foundational phase of simply taking God at His Word, which is why they experience instability rather than the results of the Spirit.
- Your spiritual capacity must match your prosperity — God will not give a believer more substance than their soul can sustain, because wealth without spiritual maturity will be lost when tested.
- A prophet delivers substance, not inspiration — The prophet speaks from the realm of faith to reveal what God has already set in place, making it possible for a believer to enter immediately into faith without needing to build toward it.
- Sacrifice speaks louder to God than words — Whether it is the sacrifice of Christ securing forgiveness or a believer offering praise in their darkest moment, acts of sacrifice access God's response in ways that words alone cannot.
Reflection Questions
- Have you been claiming faith while skipping the foundational stage of simply believing God — taking Him at His Word when everything around you contradicts it? What specifically has God spoken over your life that you have not yet fully believed?
- When things have gone wrong — when you were rejected, betrayed, or lost — did your trust in God hold or shift? What does your response in those moments reveal about where you are in terms of establishment?
- Is your spiritual maturity currently matched to the level of blessing, authority, or responsibility you are asking God for? If a storm came tomorrow, would your soul be rooted enough to sustain what you are believing to receive?
- Have you ever entered a spiritual battle or confrontation that you were not sent into or equipped for? What was the outcome, and what does that reveal about the importance of spiritual authority being earned through establishment?
- The last time you were in your darkest moment, did your praise become a sacrifice — or did you stop praising altogether? What would it look like for you to offer a sacrifice of praise in your current most difficult situation this week?
Prayers and Declarations
