Blank Check Sunday: Accessing Unlimited Blessing Through Spiritual Positioning

Blank Check Sunday: Accessing Unlimited Blessing Through Spiritual Positioning

Teaching by Prophet Lovy L. Elias · Watch on YouTube · 16 December 2024

God has signed a blank check in the name of Jesus — your job is to learn how to cash it.

Every believer has been given access to unlimited blessing — not a limited amount, not a fixed figure, but a check signed with one name: Jesus. The question is not whether God has provided; the question is whether your soul is calibrated to receive, convert, and walk in what He has already released. This teaching unlocks the principles of spiritual positioning — thanksgiving, praise, and expectation — that open portals of heaven and carry you to the other side of every limitation.

Teaching Overview

  1. God has given every believer a blank check signed in the name of Jesus, granting access to unlimited blessing beyond any earthly budget or blueprint.
  2. Your soul is an economy — how you convert what God gives depends on the condition and calibration of your inner life.
  3. Thanksgiving tears the fabric of time, praise opens heavenly portals, and your spirit must go first before your body can arrive at your destiny.
  4. Prayer without expectation is witchcraft — the soul must be continuously calibrated to anticipate God's new and unprecedented work.
  5. The name of Jesus is not used by shouting it but by walking in His manner, character, and swag.

The Nature of Joyful Noise

  • The Bible does not command organized noise — it commands joyful noise, and there is a distinction between the two.
  • Chaotic noise produces fear and dread; joyful noise is the overflow of excitement about what God is going to do.
  • When God speaks to you about what is coming, you carry an energy and vibrance that people around you cannot explain.

"When God comes through for you and nobody else knows what God is about to do, you have such energy and vibrance that people don't understand how you're sustaining."

The Word as God's Answer

  • God does not answer with miracles first — He answers with a word, and the word, received into good soil, warms into the miracle.
  • Everything God has ever done began with one word — not many words, but the word. In the beginning was the Word.
  • You are yourself a response to the word of God.

"God doesn't answer with miracles. God answers with a word."

How the Word Takes Root

  • The evidence that the word has landed in good soil is not verbal agreement — it is the movement of the heart into joyful expectation.
  • When the word merely lands on the surface, it may appear to grow but it will wither quickly; when it breaks the ground of the heart, it takes root and deepens.
  • A simple "amen" with an unmoved heart means the seed did not penetrate — true reception is when the heart begins to say, "Tomorrow will be better."

"How you know the word has landed into good soil is by the response of your heart, not just your agreement."

Calibrating the Soul for Expectation

  • The soul must be continuously calibrated to remain expectant — a settled, cold soul is a barren soul.
  • Expectation is not passive hope; it is active anticipation — Father, what are You going to do today? My ears are open.
  • An expecting ground is a fruitful ground, and the moment you begin to expect, God begins to move.

"You need to calibrate your soul to always be expectant. Never allow your soul to be called. Your soul must always be expectant."

Prayer Without Expectation Is Witchcraft

  • Prayer without expectation ends in resentment, because the one praying has no framework for receiving what God will do.
  • True expectation is not waiting for exactly what you asked for — it is waiting to be blown away by what God does beyond what you asked for.
  • The six-pound human brain can see only 1% of the blessing; God holds the 99% that remains unseen.

"Prayer without expectation is witchcraft."

"Father blow me away. I can only see the tip of the blessing. Father blow me away."

The Blank Check Signed by Jesus

  • God does not give a check with a dollar amount — He signs the check with one name: Jesus.
  • Because Jesus created everything — the earth, the stars, all things — the name on the check carries infinite worth.
  • The problem is not the check; the problem is that believers try to fit God's check into their own limited budget rather than fitting their problems into His.

"God gives you a check signed Jesus. He is not going to give you a check that says 1 million, 2 million, no, no, no, no, no. He will just sign Jesus."

Your Soul Is an Economy

  • The soul is a treasury — a good man brings good things out of his heart, and an evil person brings bad things out of his heart.
  • You are a whole nation, a whole banking system — when you operate with God's economy, the failure of a country or market does not dictate your outcome.
  • If your problems are too large in your own estimation, they will set the exchange rate and crush the transaction of what God has given you.

"You yourself are an economy. That is why when you walk with God, if the country's failing doesn't mean you will fail."

One Name, One Way

  • God solves every situation by one name — not ten names, not fifty methods, one way.
  • Acts 4:12 establishes that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved — and this extends beyond the salvation of the soul to every area of life.
  • Every believer must work out their own salvation — meaning you must sit with yourself and discern how you will come out of your situation, because God responds one way.

"God will always solve every situation by one name. Not ten names, not fifty names, not ten different methods, one way."

Heaven as Destination vs. Abundant Life on Earth

  • Heaven is real and the goal, but you still have a life on earth — you cannot undermine your earthly life simply because you are waiting for heaven.
  • Jesus commanded, "Occupy until I come back" — meaning you are called to be busy, productive, and joyful in what you are doing for God.
  • There is nothing more miserable than a joyless Christian; the early church counted it joy to suffer and to be persecuted.

"You cannot undermine your life on earth because you are waiting for heaven. Because Jesus said, Occupy until I come back."

Celebration as Prophetic Declaration

  • As you celebrate the Lord, heaven comes down, difficult situations change, and portals open above you.
  • When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and the crowds rejoiced, their celebration was a prophetic sign of the salvation that was coming.
  • When your praise stops, your miracle stops — praise is not optional; it is the mechanism by which you advance.

"As you celebrate the Lord, the Lord, the coming down. Difficult situations are changing. Heaven is opening above you."

"When your praise stops your miracle stop."

Opening Spiritual Portals Through Thanksgiving and Praise

  • When you give God thanks in the midst of your situation, you tear the fabric of space and time and enter the spiritual world — your body may remain in time, but your spirit is no longer bound by it.
  • When you begin to praise, heaven's portals open and the angels of God come down, carrying you through the courts of heaven where decisions are made and cases are settled.
  • What would have taken ten years, the portal collapses into a moment — thanksgiving and praise are not emotional expressions; they are acts of spiritual transcendence.

"When I begin to give God thanks, Father, I thank you that I am on the other side of this situation. Lord, you did not bring me this far too far. What I am doing is I am tearing. I am making a tear in the fabric of space and time. I am opening a portal that will transition me to the other side."

The Spirit Goes First

  • You can never go where your spirit has not been, because the body follows the spirit — the spirit does not follow the body.
  • The mind can go somewhere without the body ever arriving; but when the spirit goes to a place, the body will definitely arrive and be established there.
  • The guarantee of resurrection is grounded in this principle — Jesus descended into the grave, came out, and because we are crucified with Christ we have already gone through the process.

"You can never go where your spirit has not been. Because the body follows the spirit. The spirit has not followed the body."

The Enemy Cannot See Your Spirit

  • In the physical world, the enemy sees your body navigating impossibility — walking through fire, through thorns, through situations that have destroyed others — and cannot comprehend it.
  • The enemy does not know that your body is simply following your spirit, which has already transcended the limitation and arrived on the other side.
  • The tribulations that cause others to give up cannot stop you when your spirit has already passed through the courts of heaven.

"They don't know your body is just following your spirit. And you are no longer here, you are already on the other side."

A Broken Spirit vs. A Strong Spirit

  • A broken spirit cannot be rebuilt — a broken heart can be healed, but a broken spirit leaves a person as good as dead.
  • The Scripture asks, "A broken spirit, who can bear it?" — meaning it is an unbearable and irreparable condition.
  • Spiritual toughness is not the answer; you have a Saviour, and His way is what preserves your spirit through the battle.

"A broken spirit, who can bear it? You can bear a broken heart, a broken spirit? You are pretty much dead."

Using the Name of Jesus

  • The Greek word onoma does not mean "in the name" as a formula — it means in the manner, in the character of Jesus.
  • What makes the name of Jesus work is not the volume at which you shout it, but whether you carry the manner and character — the swag — of Jesus.
  • To Jesus, walking on land and walking on water were the same thing — He was not hindered by the composition of what was beneath His feet.

"The way to use the name of Jesus is not by shouting it, but by having the swag, the manner, the character of Jesus."

Key Definitions

Joyful noise — Not organized or structured sound, but uncontainable expression of excitement about what God is going to do; the overflow of a heart that has received a word from God.

Expectation — Active anticipation of what God is going to do, calibrated to receive something beyond what you asked for — not waiting for the specific item requested, but for the exceedingly and abundantly above all.

Blank check — God's provision signed in the name of Jesus, carrying no dollar limit, because Jesus created everything; it is a check whose full value exceeds what any earthly institution could cash.

Soul as economy — The soul functions as a personal treasury and banking system; the condition of the soul determines how effectively a person converts the currency of God's blessing into tangible reality in their life.

Onoma — The Greek word translated "in the name," meaning not a verbal formula but in the manner, in the character of Jesus; what activates the name is walking in His manner and swag.

Spiritual portal — A tear in the fabric of space and time opened through thanksgiving and praise, through which the spirit is carried by angels through the courts of heaven to the other side of a situation.

Key Takeaways

  • God's provision has no dollar limit — it is signed by Jesus, who created everything. Understanding this changes how you pray — you stop asking for what fits your budget and start trusting God for what fits His.
  • Your soul is an economy, and its condition determines what you can receive. If your problems are larger in your own estimation than your trust in God, they will set the exchange rate and diminish what you actually receive.
  • Thanksgiving tears time; praise opens heaven. These are not emotional responses — they are the precise spiritual mechanics by which you transcend physical limitation and arrive on the other side.
  • Prayer without expectation is witchcraft. Without the posture of anticipating God's exceeding and abundant answer, prayer becomes a ritual that produces resentment rather than fruit.
  • Your spirit must go first — the body only follows where the spirit has already been. Praise and thanksgiving send your spirit ahead; your body's arrival at the destination is then guaranteed.

Reflection Questions

  1. When you pray, are you expecting God to do exactly what you asked — or are you genuinely anticipating something beyond what your six-pound brain could have conceived? What does your honest answer reveal about the condition of your expectation?
  2. Have your prayers been centered on copying someone else's blueprint — asking God to bless you the way He has blessed another person? What would it look like to say, "Father, I am ready for a new thing" — and mean it?
  3. In your current battles, are you trying to fight through by physical means and personal toughness — or are you using thanksgiving and praise to open spiritual portals and let your spirit go first? What is the difference in your daily practice?
  4. What is the state of your soul as an economy right now? Are your problems setting the exchange rate for what God can do in your life — and if so, what needs to change in how you are calibrating your inner life?
  5. What is one situation in your life where you have stopped praising — and where your miracle has correspondingly stalled? What specific step of thanksgiving or praise can you take this week to reopen that portal?

Prayers and Declarations
