Mourning Is Over
God has decreed your elevation in heaven; it is now your right to demand what belongs to you as a son of God.
The time of mourning for what was lost has ended. A heavenly council of watchers and holy ones has already passed a decree for your advancement, and you are called to shift from requesting mercy through prayer to demanding your inheritance with the authority of a son. Your faith—the substance of things hoped for—is what allows God to pour out blessings without measure, but only according to the room you make through your demands.
Teaching Overview
-
A mature believer functions from both the written Word (logos) and the living voice of God (Rema), understanding that either one alone creates vulnerability when circumstances strip away access to the other.
-
Heavenly councils of watchers and holy ones observe the earth and petition God regarding decisions about nations, families, and individuals; these decrees carry spiritual authority that earthly decrees alone cannot match.
-
Prayer and demand are fundamentally different—prayer seeks mercy and grace, while demand flows from a recognized right; most believers pray when they should demand, because the revelation of sonship has not settled into their hearts.
-
Sonship grants you the right to make demands of God because you are His child, eternally secure in His love regardless of performance; God will pour out blessings only according to the measure of room you create through your demands.
-
The heavenly decree has already gone forth that your time of mourning is over; you are the Joshua generation appointed to possess what previous generations could not, and you must rise up to take the kingdom by the violence of refusing to settle for less.
-
Faith is the substance itself—not hope, which merely carries you through present pain—and only with faith as substance can you make a demand knowing that what you ask for is already yours.
Key Distinctions
| Prayer | Demand | |
|---|---|---|
| What it represents | Seeking mercy and grace | Exercising a known right |
| When to use it | When you lack standing or knowledge | When you are a son of God with inheritance |
| The foundation | Humility; asking for what you don't deserve | Identity; claiming what is already yours |
| The result | God's compassion answers | Heavenly councils align to support it |
| The posture | "Please, if You will..." | "This is mine. I take it." |
| Logos (Written Word) | Rema (Living Voice) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Scripture; the recorded will of God | The direct, immediate speaking of God's Spirit |
| When you need it | When you cannot hear God's voice; when circumstances are unclear | When you need direction that Scripture alone doesn't address |
| The vulnerability | You are paralyzed when God is silent | You are vulnerable to deception if not anchored in Scripture |
| The solution | A mature believer has both | Without both, you lack tools to navigate all seasons |
| | Purist Christian | Holy Spirit Inspiration Christian | Mature Believer | |---|---|---| | Foundation | "If it's not in the Word, I don't believe it" | "If I don't feel it or hear it, I won't do it" | Both written Word and Spirit's voice | | Strength | Anchored in Scripture; resistant to deception | Responsive to God's present direction | Equipped for every season and circumstance | | Weakness | Paralyzed when Scripture is silent on a matter | Vulnerable to emotion and false impressions | Requires maturity to balance both sources | | How they pray | By the book; formulaic | By impression; spontaneous | By the Spirit with Scripture as anchor |
The Three Kinds of Christians and Spiritual Maturity
- A purist Christian rejects anything not explicitly written in Scripture; a Holy Spirit inspiration Christian will only do what they feel moved to do; a mature believer integrates both.
- Every channel God has made available to us is an advantage; the moment you don't comprehend this, you cannot utilize it.
- When logos (written Word) cannot supply a need, Rema (God's living voice) will supply it; Jesus on the cross had neither—only the promises of His Father—yet He stood firm.
"There are three kinds of Christians. The first Christian is a purist. If it's not in the word, it is not written. I don't believe it, I don't want it. The second Christian is I am all inspiration of the Holy Spirit. If I don't feel it, if I'm not moved, then I am not doing it. The third believer has both of them together."
"When you are a mature believer, you don't function from one source. You function from all. Every channel that God has made available for us is an advantage. Whatever way God has made for us, whatever tool God has given to us, is an advantage."
Heavenly Councils and Divine Decrees
- A decree made by man has no power unless it has spiritual backing in heaven—unless the watchers have observed it and the Holy Ones have partitioned it.
- When a prophet attains a certain growth in God's sight, they enter into Elder Ship and sit in councils where decisions about nations and lives are made.
- The watchers are angelic beings whose duty is to oversee, record, and watch what is happening on earth and report it to God; they are powerful, but they watch and petition rather than interfere unless God commands.
"This matter is by the decree of the watchers and the demand by the Word of the Holy Ones to the intent that the living may know that the most high rule is in the kingdom of men and give it a whom ever he will."
"A decree by man has no power. Many times when we are speaking life into our own lives, if there is no spiritual backing in heaven, that the decree you are making, even the watchers have signed up, they said, We have observed and there requested through, Father, we are partitioned this, let this one be approved—it means nothing."
Prayer Versus Demand: Understanding Your Rights as a Son
- Whenever a person makes a demand, it is because they have rights; wherever there is prayer, you are seeking mercy and grace.
- Most believers pray when they should demand because the revelation of sonship has not entered into their hearts—they know it in their mind, but not in their spirit.
- The Lord's Prayer is filled with demands, not requests: "Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses. Leave us not"—Jesus teaches us to demand, not to beg.
"There is a difference between prayer and a demand. Whenever a person demands is because they have rights. Whenever there is a demand, there is a right. Wherever there is prayer, you are seeking mercy and grace."
"When you know by your heart that you are a son of God, your whole prayer life shifts. You can't get rid of me anywhere, I'm yours. You birthed me. Whether I am wrong, you can't reject me, you can't spit me out, I am yours. That is the evidence of Sonship."
The Council Waiting for Your Voice
- There is a council in heaven waiting for you to speak so that they can petition and partition your blessing; when you gather as children of God, you become a spiritual council on earth.
- Angels offer incense (your prayers) before God's throne to support what you are declaring; the incense is not the prayer itself, but incense supports what the prayer is meant to establish.
- When you don't know how to demand from God, you frustrate the power that is supposed to come; God cannot pour out beyond your demand because your ability to make room determines what you can receive.
"Do you know it is your right to be forgiven? Do you know that it is your right to have plenty? Do you know that it is your right to cross over to the next level? You see the reason that you don't know is because you are used to pray and not demands. Because you don't understand, there is a council waiting for you to speak so that they can partition."
"When you don't know how to pull from God, when you don't know how to demand from God, what happens is you frustrate, because God can only pull out according to your demand."
Faith as Substance: The Basis for Demanding
- Faith is the substance itself—not hope, which merely carries you through present pain; faith is the blessing itself because it is substance.
- If you have faith, you can make a demand because you already have that substance; that thing is already yours.
- You don't even know what is yours, which is why you are not making a demand—you are only motivating yourself, but you have no faith because you lack the substance.
"You have no faith because faith is the substance. Faith is the blessing itself because faith is substance. If I have faith, I can make a demand because I already have that substance. That thing is mine."
"I will open the windows of heaven. I will pour out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive it. One blessing is so big that you don't have room to receive it. Your ability to make room determines what you can pour out."
The Decree Already Passed and Your Identity as Joshua's Generation
- There is a decree that has already passed in heaven; the time of mourning is over, and you are the Joshua generation that will enjoy the new land and inherit what previous generations could not.
- You are called to rise above every situation, family challenge, and business obstacle because God has positioned you as the tip of the spear to open the way for those who come behind you.
- The violent take the kingdom by violence—this violence is not fighting people, but the fierce demand that refuses to settle for small, limited blessings when God has ordained abundance.
"There is a decree already that has passed in heaven. The time of mourning is over. You are the Joshua generation that will enjoy the new land. That will enjoy the land of Milk and Honey. You are the generation that will build all the solutions."
"God has called you and me above every situation, above everything that is happening in our lives in our families, in our businesses. God has sent us to be the spear or the tip of the spear that is going to open for everybody else."
Sonship Grants Unshakeable Rights
- When you receive sonship, you have rights that cannot be taken away; God cannot reject you or spit you out because you are eternally His child.
- It is your right to be forgiven, to have plenty, to cross over to the next level, to be elevated, and to be expanded—these are not favors God extends but rights you possess as a son.
- God did not ordain your calling, business, or family for you to fail; because you are a son and God is your source, your desires and ambitions are actually God's will expressing itself through you.
"When you receive such a ship, you have rights. It's my right to say, Father, speak to me and you will speak to me."
"God did not ordain the business for you so that you can fail. Some of you are in acting, in entertainment. Whatever calling God has given you. The Bible says it is he that makes us to will and to do of his good pleasure."
You Are an Instrument of God's Will
- You are not that important; neither is the prophet; you are an instrument of God's will through which He expresses Himself.
- When you don't demand, you frustrate the power that is supposed to flow through you, just as a speaker distorts and blows when it doesn't have enough power to push the sound clearly.
- God will rather give you much and watch you mess it up so He can give you more than to withhold blessing because He doubts you can manage it.
"You are desire and your ambitions to do all these things and not coming from you. You are not that important. I am not that important. We are instruments of God's will."
"When you don't demand, you frustrate the power that is supposed to come. God cannot pour out beyond your demand."
Understanding the Nature of God Beyond Human Gender
- God is spirit, not man; the word Father means source—where everything proceeds from—not a masculine designation.
- God is neither woman nor man; both male and female are created in the image of God, so God looks like all of us.
- The concept of gender on earth is for procreation, but in the spirit realm, we are not distinguished by gender; in heaven you shall be like the angels.
"God is not a man, God is spirit. The word father just means source. Where everything proceeds from. God is neither a woman or man. We are both created in the image of God."
Fasting Aligns You to Hear, Not to Change God
- Fasting doesn't change God; it changes us and clears us so that we can hear when He speaks.
- God's nature is fixed and unchangeable; God will do what He will do according to His unchangeable nature.
- The concept of fasting is to fast until He answers, not to pray for a certain number of days and call it a moral victory when you should be seeking divine intervention.
"Fasting doesn't change God, it changes us. I don't fast to make him speak. I fast so that I can be clear when he speaks."
"The concept of fasting is fast until he answers. Because now we want a moral victory. We don't want divine intervention."
Moving Beyond the Past Into Your Future
- The trick of the enemy is always to keep you in the past; if you stay in the past, you cannot attain the future.
- Twenty twenty-four may have been rough, and you may feel the residue of what happened, but the time of crying about that is done.
- God is not insensitive to your pain; from the Old Testament through the New Testament, He has been acquainted with your suffering and became man so He could represent you with that pain.
"The time of crying about that is done. The trick of the enemies always to keep you in the past. And if you stay in the past, you cannot attain the future."
Key Definitions
Sonship — The settled revelation in your heart (not just your mind) that you are a beloved son of God, eternally secure, who possesses rights that cannot be revoked and can therefore demand your inheritance with authority.
Decree — A decision passed in the heavenly council by the watchers and Holy Ones that carries spiritual authority to establish what is bound on earth; no earthly decree has power without heavenly backing.
Demand — A request made from a position of known right and inherited authority, distinct from prayer which seeks mercy and grace; the means by which you pull blessing from God according to your capacity to receive.
Watchers — Angelic beings whose duty is to oversee, record, and report what happens on earth to God; they petition the Holy Ones on behalf of believers to establish heavenly decrees.
Rema — The living, immediate voice of God's Spirit speaking directly to you in the present moment; distinct from logos (written Scripture) and necessary when Scripture is silent on a specific matter.
Faith — The substance itself of what you hope for, not mere hope which carries you through present pain; it is the actual possession of the blessing, which is why faith allows you to make a demand as if you already own what you are asking for.
Key Takeaways
-
A mature believer integrates both the written Word and the living voice of God — depending on only one source leaves you vulnerable in seasons when that source is temporarily unavailable.
-
Heavenly councils are waiting for your voice to speak so they can partition your blessing — your prayers are incense that support your demands before God's throne, and God pours out only according to the room you make.
-
Prayer and demand are not the same; demand flows from the revelation that you are a son with unshakeable rights — most believers pray when they should demand, which frustrates the power that is meant to flow through them.
-
Faith is the substance of what you hope for, not just hope itself — only with faith as substance can you make a demand knowing the thing is already yours in the spirit.
-
The time of mourning is over; a decree has passed in heaven that you are the Joshua generation appointed to take what previous generations could not — you must rise up and refuse to settle for small blessings when God has ordained abundance.
-
You are an instrument of God's will, called to advance so that those behind you can be blessed through the territory you pioneer — when you don't demand, you frustrate the power and withhold blessing from the generations that follow.
Reflection Questions
-
In what area of your life are you still praying when you should be demanding based on your identity as a son or daughter of God—and what would change if you shifted from "Please, Father" to "This is mine"?
-
Which resonates more with you—the written Word (logos) or the immediate voice of God (Rema)—and how has your dependence on only one left you vulnerable when that source seemed unavailable?
-
The sermon teaches that you can only receive blessings according to the room you make through your demands; what does this reveal about the smallness of your current demands, and what are you actually believing God can do?
-
You are called to be the tip of the spear for those who come behind you; what territory or breakthrough is God asking you to pioneer this year that you have been too afraid or too small in your thinking to claim?
-
What specific demand will you make of God this week as an act of faith—not as a request for mercy, but as a son claiming what already belongs to you?
Prayers and Declarations
Opening Prayer
"Father, we thank you in the name of your son Jesus for the privilege to be in your presence. Father, you are so kind and you are so good in so many ways. Father, it is impossible for us to understand the magnitude of your message towards us. Father, I pray in the name of Jesus that your hand will continue to rest upon us. We take away our sin, our inequities, our weaknesses, and Father transformers into witnesses of your glory that we may see you move amongst us. Father, we glorify your name because you don't change. We thank you that Lord, you are the only consistent or consistency we know. Father, we remain in you, we anchor ourselves in you. Father, thank you for holding us by your right hand. Thank you that every burden will be lifted every struggle will be taken away. That today will be the day that you have made because it is. We thank you for all this and even more that you will do that we cannot comprehend. In the name of your Holy Son, your only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world."
Prophetic Declaration
"You are going so far this year. Let me prophesy to somebody. I said you are going so far this year."
