Rest Sunday: Healing Is Easy Because Jesus Already Paid the Price
Healing belongs to every believer — not because of how hard you pray, but because Jesus already paid the price.
Healing is not earned through fasting, straining in prayer, or spiritual performance. It is already accomplished through the finished work of Jesus Christ. The believer's role is not to strive for healing but to receive what has already been determined and delivered. When you understand how God truly feels about you, everything changes.
Teaching Overview
- Healing is easy because Jesus paid the price — not because of prayer, fasting, or effort.
- Your response to God's delivery is reception, not anxious striving or doubt.
- Believers are the healed, not the sick — identity precedes manifestation.
- Taking life one day at a time is an act of faith, not passivity.
- Everything happening in your life — both good and bad — is spiritual in origin.
Key Distinctions
| Healed | Sick | Good (from God) | Evil (from Hell) | Receiving | Praying/Doubting | Follower of Jesus | Sinner | Rest | Anxiety | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identity | Who you are as a child of God | A false identity assigned by the enemy | Your true portion | A counterfeit reality | An act of faith | An act of unbelief | One who has chosen Jesus | One who has not yet chosen | A state of trust in God's provision | A state of trying to control what only God governs |
| Source | Established by Jesus' payment | Originates from hell | Comes from above | Comes from below | Rooted in knowing God's heart | Rooted in uncertainty about God's will | Born of love, not fear | Born of separation from God | Produced by faith | Produced by trying to see beyond what God has revealed |
| How it works | Walk in it by declaration and belief | Accepted when you speak it and claim it | Received by those who are open | Tolerated when its spiritual root is unaddressed | Posture: "Father, I receive it all" | Posture: praying while the delivery is being made | "I choose You because I love You" | Living outside the covering of Jesus | Faith that accumulates step by step | Trying to plan 10–15 years ahead without God |
| What it produces | Transformation, freedom, wholeness | Sustained suffering and bondage | Overflow, blessing, life | Destruction, torment, loss | Fullness and overflow for others | Migraines, stress, high blood pressure | A repentant heart, the Spirit of God | Distance from God's healing and provision | Alignment with the Shepherd's plan | Confusion and self-destruction |
The Simplicity of God's Healing
- Healing is not difficult because of prayer or fasting — it is easy because Jesus already paid the price and He is willing and ready.
- Most believers are guessing how God feels about them; God's invitation is not to assume or imagine but to know His heart.
- The knowledge of God's heart concerning you changes everything about you.
"Healing is very easy. It is not easy because we pray. It is not easy because we fast. It is easy because Jesus paid the price. It is easy because He is willing and ready."
The Posture of Reception
- When God sends a minister to pray, the correct response is reception — not praying simultaneously, which is unbelief rising.
- The believer is not responsible for figuring out how or when God's provision arrives; the job is simply to receive.
- Anxious questioning — "How will it come? How will it be?" — is an attempt to tell God what is difficult and what is easy.
"I am your delivery boy. I'm carrying your package from Jehovah."
"Your response should be Father, I receive it all. And anything that is blocking me from receiving, I remove it in the name of Jesus."
"It's not my duty to figure that out. My job is simple. Father, what you have for me, I receive it."
Identity: The Healed, Not the Sick
- Believers are not sick people waiting for healing — they are the healed, and that identity must be spoken and walked in daily.
- Claiming sickness in language makes it permanent; the language of faith changes the atmosphere before the manifestation arrives.
- Faith must be settled deep within — not just spoken but believed the way you would believe in a million dollars you know is already yours.
"You're the healed and not the sick. You're the healed and not the sick."
"When I have issues, I am the healed and not the sick. Go stand down there because it ain't working today."
Faith, Rest, and Taking Life One Day at a Time
- Your faith determines your rest — rest does not begin when the breakthrough comes; it is the posture that precedes it.
- A future is not built by seeing 10 to 15 years ahead; it is built one step at a time, knowing the accumulation of those steps will produce exactly what God has prepared.
- The devil uses anxiety about the future to destabilise believers, but God has already seen the end and is moving you there step by step.
"Your response is your faith and your faith will determine your rest."
"A future is built one step at a time."
"Rest doesn't begin when you receive the breakthrough."
Everything Is Spiritual
- Every good and perfect gift comes from above; everything unclean and evil originates from hell — nothing in life is merely natural.
- Believers are not ordinary mortals; they are children of light walking in a dark world, carrying the glory of Christ to the lost and broken.
- God's desire is for believers to trust Him as the tide turns — understanding that what appears as a sustained condition has a spiritual root and a spiritual solution.
"We are immortals walking among mortals. We are children of the light, beings of light, walking in a dark world."
The Role of the Shepherd and Psalm 23
- Sheep do not worry about where they will graze — they are directed by the Shepherd who has already mapped the entire journey.
- Wealth and breakthrough without God do not produce rest; true rest comes only when God is the one who elevates you, because then you are not alone at the top.
- God shows believers the end picture not so they will be anxious about how to get there, but so they can trust each step knowing where they are heading.
"Your faith determines your rest."
Knowing God as the Foundation of Power
- You will never be powerful in God until you know Him; strength comes not from superior gifting but from the depth of relationship with God.
- Patience — allowing God's timing to lift you up — is the requirement for lasting power; things that are not tested will not stand.
- The Holy Spirit does not call you up when you fail; He builds you up, deepening your understanding of His love and His ways through every season.
"You will never be powerful in God until you know Him. Those who know their God shall be strong."
"Things that are not tested will not stand."
Salvation: Choosing Jesus from Love, Not Fear
- There is no such thing as a sinner's prayer — when you decide to follow Jesus, you are no longer a sinner.
- The valid prayer is one born of genuine faith — a choice to follow Jesus not out of fear of hell but out of love for the One who loved you first.
- God's ear is close to the righteous, and the prayers of the righteous avail much; choosing Jesus repositions you in that righteousness.
"When you decide to follow Jesus, you're no longer a sinner."
Key Definitions
Healing — Not a reward for prayer or fasting, but an already-accomplished provision made easy by Jesus' payment on the cross.
Reception — The faith posture of saying "Father, I receive it all" when God's delivery arrives through a minister; the opposite of praying anxiously while the package is being delivered.
Rest — A state of trust produced by faith, not a reward that follows breakthrough; it is the posture that precedes the manifestation.
Spiritual husband — A demonic spirit inherited through ancestral lines that attaches to a person, appears in dreams, sabotages earthly relationships, and claims ownership over the individual.
Sinner's prayer — A term Prophet Lovy rejects as inaccurate; the moment you choose to follow Jesus you are no longer a sinner — the valid prayer is one born of genuine faith and love, not religious formula.
Delivery boy — Prophet Lovy's term for the role of a minister in healing: a facilitator who carries what God has already determined to be yours and gives it to you; the healer is Jesus, not the minister.
Key Takeaways
- Healing is easy because Jesus paid the price — it is not withheld from those who pray harder or fast longer; it is already yours and waiting to be received.
- Your response to God's delivery is reception, not striving — anxious prayer during a moment of impartation is unbelief rising; the correct posture is "Father, I receive it all."
- You are the healed, not the sick — speaking sickness makes it permanent; declaring your true identity as the healed releases faith that changes your reality.
- Faith lived one day at a time produces rest — trying to see 10 to 15 years ahead opens the door to anxiety; obedience in each present step builds the future God has already prepared.
- Everything in your life is spiritual — both blessing and affliction have a source; knowing that every good gift comes from God and every evil from hell equips you to respond with authority rather than confusion.
Reflection Questions
- When someone prays for your healing, what is your actual response — do you receive in faith, or do you pray anxiously, doubt quietly, or wait to see if something happens before you believe?
- Are you currently speaking sickness, lack, or defeat over your life through the language you use daily — and what would it look like to deliberately shift to the language of the healed?
- How much of your mental and emotional energy is spent trying to see 10 to 15 years ahead, and what would it mean practically for you to take life one day at a time in obedience to God?
- Do you actually know how God feels about you — not assume, not hope — but know? What has been shaping your understanding of His heart more: His Word, or your circumstances?
- What condition, situation, or need have you been carrying as though it is permanent and unchangeable? What is holding you back from receiving your healing, breakthrough, or deliverance today?
Prayers and Declarations
"Say, Lord, Jesus show me mercy. Lord, Jesus show me mercy. Say, Son of David show me mercy. Son of David show me mercy."

Lift your hands and declare that you are ready to receive the best that God has for you:
"Father, I am ready. I receive the best that you have for me. We came to declare that Father, I am ready and I receive the best you have for me. Father, I am ready and I receive your very best God. I am ready. My heart is open, God, and I receive all that you have for me. As your world has gone towards our best, you give the best and I receive. I receive it to the overflow. I receive your best to my transformation. I receive your best. I receive your best. Your very best God. Your very best. Your very best. You are a good God and you give good. Everyone put your hands up:
"Father, may they receive it. Even those who are watching at home, those who would watch this later, your word says, you make your ministers a flame of fire. We are called to work in the dimension of seraphims, who are forever in your throne, burning with your glory. New dimension, burn with fire, burn with fire, burn with fire, burn with fire, fire of the Holy Spirit, that sanctifies, that purifies, that delivers, that shifts destinies. Receive it now! Receive it now! Receive it now! Receive it now! Receive it now! Maybe like fire shut up in your bones! May your eyes begin to see the other side. Your eyes see the other side. See beyond the veil. See beyond the veil. See beyond the veil. See the glory of your father! Receive a new language of deep intimacy with Yahweh. Move among them Lord, mark them for your glory. Mark them for your glory. You said, those who hunger there will be fueled. May every hunger be filled. Those who are hungry be filled. Those who are hungry be filled."
Say with me:
"Father in the name of Jesus. I thank you for the gift of salvation. I thank you for the gift of salvation given to all men through Jesus, that you have given to all men through Jesus, that whoever will confess the Lord Jesus, whoever will call on the name of the Lord, they shall be saved. Lord, I want you. I choose you. I choose you. I'm not choosing you because I'm afraid of hell. I'm not choosing you because I'm afraid of hell. I'm not choosing you because I don't want to be in hell. I'm not choosing you because I don't want to be in here. I am choosing you because I love you. I'm choosing you because I love you. And you loved me first. And you loved me first. I am learning of your love. I am learning of your love. Jesus, I want you. Jesus, I want you. Genuinely, genuinely, and with purity. And with purity. I only want you Lord. I only want you. Father, I pray. So Father, I pray. May you come into my heart. May you come into my heart. Fill me with your spirit. Fill me with your spirit, deliver me from today. Deliver me from today, give me a repentant heart. Give me a repentant heart. Give me a heart that is ready to turn away from sin. Give me a heart that is ready to turn away from sin. Lord Jesus thank you for saving me. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for giving me. Thank you for asking me. Thank you for the rest of my life. For the rest of my life. I will follow you. To eternity. Even into eternity. For you have made it possible. You have made it possible. You have made it possible. So stay in my embrace. Because on my own I cannot. Because on my own I cannot. Father, I thank you. Father, I thank you."
"Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you. We thank you Lord for your presence in this place, for your spirit in our lives. And Father as we give today, we give knowing where our supply comes from, where our help comes from, not only physically Father, but emotionally and mentally, spiritually and all to do with us that Lord you are our provider. So Father let any mind in this house that has seen lack see the abundance of God from today. Father we don't wait for something to appear in our hands to know that we have a reason to bless you. A reason to thank you a reason to glorify you. Father multiply your people, keep them. Keep them. Keep them in the awareness of your presence. Keep them in the power of your presence. That Lord we would walk out of here transformed and renewed by our mind. And that Father, all things are made possible with you. Let every mentality of lack, let every mentality of can't let every mentality of it's not possible. Father, we witness the impossible with you every day of our lives father may we never forget your faithfulness."
