Pisteuo: The Highest Level of Faith Pt. 3 — Operating Beyond Natural Comprehension
True faith does not work through prayer alone — it works through becoming spiritual, knowing the Holy Spirit, and speaking according to God's will.
Faith at its highest level — pisteuo — operates beyond natural comprehension, creates what does not yet exist, and is inseparable from the nature of God Himself. To walk in this level of faith, believers must move beyond surface-level doctrine and become truly spiritual — because only those who are spiritual can judge all things, resist deception, and access the fullness of what God has made available.
Teaching Overview
- Pisteuo (faith) operates beyond natural law — it creates what does not exist by aligning with God's will and nature, not by prayer alone.
- Unified belief and singular vision carry supernatural power — when people are of one thought and one purpose, nothing is withheld from them.
- Speaking to a thing must be done according to the will of God, not the will of man — pisteuo calls those things that are not as if they were.
- False Christs and false prophets deceive only those who do not know the Holy Spirit — the elect cannot be deceived.
- Becoming spiritual, not merely knowing Scripture, is what equips a believer to judge all things and discern the truth.
Key Distinctions
| Pisteuo / Faith | Doubt | Prayer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | Knowing and thinking something to be true at the deepest level of conviction | Unbelief — the failure to hold something as true in the heart | Communication with God — necessary, but separate from the mechanism of pisteuo |
| How it operates | Beyond natural law and human comprehension — calls things that do not exist into being | Operates within the limits of natural reasoning and human opinion | Does not produce results on its own — pisteuo produces what is spoken |
| Relationship to nature | Transcends natural law — mountains move, water becomes wine | Defers to natural law — "mountains don't move" | Not bound to natural law but does not by itself override it |
| Relationship to God's will | Must be aligned with God's will to function in its fullness | Represents misalignment — a failure to receive what God has spoken as true | May reflect God's will but requires pisteuo to bring that will into manifestation |
| Who can operate in it | Those who have become spiritual and renewed in their thinking | Those who remain in natural reasoning | Any believer — but prayer without pisteuo does not produce results |
| Biblical example | Jesus turning water into wine — no prayer, only knowing | The disciples reasoning in the boat about bread (Mark 8) | Jesus praying in Gethsemane — prayer as communion, not as mechanism of miracles |
Pisteuo and the Law of Belief
- Pisteuo is not simply speaking to a mountain — it is knowing without a shadow of doubt that what is spoken is true, before any natural evidence supports it.
- Doubt is unbelief. The assignment of the believer is to remove doubt and replace it with the absolute conviction that what God has spoken is already established.
- You are not what you pray — you are what you think. Entry into pisteuo requires a transformation of thought, because faith operates at the level of the mind, not only the mouth.
"The way to having whatsoever you speak is not only to speak, but it's to have faith to believe it to be true. To know it to be true."
"You are not what you pray, you are what you think."
The Power of Unified Vision
- The Tower of Babel was not a primitive engineering project — it was a spiritual endeavour to construct a portal that would give unified humanity forced access to heaven.
- When humanity was of one language and one thought, God Himself acknowledged that nothing would be withheld from them — not because they were praying, but because they were unified in purpose and vision.
- God scattered the builders not because their goal was righteous, but because the principle they were operating in — unified pisteuo — was so powerful that even misdirected, it could not be stopped.
"When you are unified in one thought, it becomes like a telepathic thing."
Speaking According to God's Will
- Pisteuo does not give a believer licence to speak according to personal will — it operates within the framework of God's will, God's nature, and God's purpose.
- God calls those things that are not as if they were — when He said "let there be light," there had never been anything called light. Pisteuo creates entirely new realities.
- When Jesus turned water into wine, He did not pray — He believed the water was wine, and when it was poured, it was wine. This is the operational pattern of pisteuo.
"God creates what is not there. He calls those things that are not as if they were."
Pisteuo and the Fullness of God's Nature
- Pisteuo makes you function in the fullness of who God is — this is why God removed Adam and Eve from the garden before they could eat from the tree of life and live forever.
- When humanity gained the knowledge of good and evil, God said, "Behold, man has become like us." The capacity to distinguish good and evil gave man the ability to form his own will, his own path, and to no longer require God's direction.
- Good and evil, in this theological framework, is a matter of perspective and will — God's ways are not man's ways not because man is sinful but because each has the capacity to form an independent will. Compliance with God is required because God is the master of all things and the source of eternal life.
"When man has the ability to choose between good and evil, man became like God because he can form his own way, he can form his own path, he can do whatever he wants now."
Deception and the Elect
- False Christs are not people claiming to be Jesus — a false Christ is anyone claiming to be anointed to deliver you, presenting themselves as the most anointed or the greatest prophet.
- The elect cannot be deceived. If a believer is deceived, it is evidence that they are not yet operating as elect — because the elect are those who are led by the Spirit, sanctified, and purified through knowing the Holy Spirit.
- The solution to deception is not exposing false teachers — it is teaching people about the Holy Spirit and introducing them to the Jesus who has appeared to you.
"People who get deceived are not elect. You become an elect by being sanctified and purified by knowing the Spirit of God."
"If you knew the Holy Spirit, no one can deceive you."
Spiritual Discernment vs. Scriptural Analysis
- He that is spiritual judges all things — discernment is not a function of opening a Bible and cross-referencing doctrine, but of seeing from the perspective of God through the eye of the Spirit.
- Scripture does not test anything. Scripture informs you so that you can become spiritual — it is the becoming spiritual that grants the capacity to judge.
- A believer cannot identify a false prophet, a witch doctor, or a deceiver through scriptural analysis alone. It requires being spiritual.
"He that is spiritual can judge all things because his opinion is based on what he sees from the perspective of God."
"Scripture doesn't test anything. Scripture simply informs you to become spiritual."
Teaching for the Current Season
- Teaching must be aligned to the season the Church is in — messages preached in previous decades do not carry the forward momentum required for the end-time believer.
- End-time teaching must be prophetic, because the question of Christ's return cannot be answered by a non-prophetic ministry.
- The mission of a teacher is to deliver what God has given them for this season — not to spend time exposing and criticising others, which produces no growth.
"Teaching must be for the season you are in, not for a season that has passed."
Key Definitions
Pisteuo — The highest level of faith; not merely believing something to be possible, but knowing it to be true — thinking it to be true — to the point that it creates what does not naturally exist.
Doubt — Unbelief. The failure to hold what God has spoken as settled and true in the heart; the barrier that prevents pisteuo from operating.
False Christ — Not a person claiming to be Jesus, but anyone who claims to be anointed to deliver you, presenting themselves as the most anointed or the greatest prophet. Christ means "anointed one."
Malak (Angel) — The Hebrew word for angel or messenger; it does not denote a winged being by default. It simply means messenger.
Elect — Those who are led by the Spirit, sanctified and purified through knowing the Holy Spirit intimately. The elect cannot be deceived by false Christs or false prophets.
Impartation — The act of dividing and sharing one's spirit into another person. It is not the transfer of the Holy Spirit — it is the transfer of the minister's own developed spirit into another.
Key Takeaways
- Pisteuo creates what does not exist — This matters because faith at this level is not bound by natural law, prior experience, or human imagination; it operates in the realm where God operates.
- You are what you think, not what you pray — This matters because transformation of thought is the prerequisite for operating in pisteuo — speaking without renewed thinking produces nothing.
- The elect cannot be deceived — This matters because deception is not a random spiritual hazard; it is the direct result of not knowing the Holy Spirit, and it can be resolved by pursuing intimacy with Him.
- Scripture informs; the Spirit discerns — This matters because relying on doctrinal analysis alone as a means of spiritual discernment is insufficient — only the one who is spiritual can judge all things.
- Teaching must serve the current season — This matters because irrelevant teaching, however accurate historically, does not equip believers for the signs and times they are actually living through.
Reflection Questions
- Do you currently experience faith as something you speak, or something you genuinely know to be true? What would it take for your thinking to align with what you are believing for?
- In what areas of your life are you still deferring to natural law — "mountains don't move" — rather than operating from the conviction that God has spoken?
- How well do you know the Holy Spirit personally — not as a doctrine, but as a relationship? What evidence of that intimacy is present in your daily life?
- If the elect cannot be deceived, what does your susceptibility to fear, confusion, or spiritual instability tell you about where you currently stand in your walk with the Spirit?
- Are you consuming teaching that is pushing you forward into the season God is bringing you into — or are you sitting under messages designed for a season that has already passed?
