When Change Becomes Inevitable: Becoming the Season That Transforms Others

When Change Becomes Inevitable: Becoming the Season That Transforms Others

Teaching by Prophet Lovy L. Elias · Watch on YouTube · 21 November 2025

You are not waiting for your season to change — you are the season God is sending to change everything around you.

God does not change your circumstances to bless you. He changes you — from the inside — so that you become the stability, the fresh water, and the instrument of transformation for everyone in your sphere. Like the cedar of Lebanon that remains evergreen through every season, the believer who is rooted deeply in the Spirit of God does not follow trends, does not bend to external pressure, and does not wait for conditions to improve. They become the condition that causes others to flourish.

Teaching Overview

  1. God's investment is in you, not in the season — He changes you internally so you can be fruitful in every season.
  2. You are not waiting for a season to change — you are the season God is sending to change things for others.
  3. True change comes through the Holy Spirit, not through external circumstances or shifting conditions.
  4. There are three levels of inevitable change for those working with God: internal transformation, external manifestation, and entering the glory dimension.
  5. When you are rooted deeply in the Spirit, your stability becomes the source of elevation for those around you.

The Presence of God Is Not Defined by Signs

  • Being in the presence of God means having an audience with Him — receiving a word that is specifically for you.
  • Manifestations — fire, visions, shaking, shifting ground — do not confirm God's presence; Pharaoh received a vision from God yet was not in His presence.
  • When Moses stood before God, the cloud and pillar of fire were visible to all Israel, but only Moses was in His presence — he alone heard God speak.

"You are in the presence of the Lord if you can hear His voice."

"Being in his presence is when God has a message for you. Today you will be changed because you are in his presence. Today you will be lifted because you are in his presence."

Change Is Inevitable — But God's Method Is Internal

  • Change is not only physical — it is spiritual, and it is coming whether you welcome it or resist it.
  • Change is more often positive than people expect; the very hardship you despise now will be the reason you thrive in seasons to come.
  • God does not change seasons to favor you — seasons will shift regardless of your prayers for them to shift.

"Life is a mystery to those who have not decoded the patterns of life. Life is only a mystery to those who have not decoded and understood the shifts and the processes that God has initiated by His own wisdom to ensure that His people become everything that He has called them to do."

"God's investment is in you, not the season. God's investment is in you. Never the season."

Rooted Like the Cedar of Lebanon

  • The cedar of Lebanon is evergreen in every season — not because of favorable weather, but because its roots go so deep it no longer depends on what is happening on the surface.
  • Believers who follow trends are shaped by the season; those whose roots are deep in the Spirit of God remain the same regardless of what is on the surface.
  • Spiritual stability means the season can change around you without changing who you are.

"May your roots go deep, may your roots go deep in God, may your roots go deep into the spirit of God. That despite the season, you are the same."

"When your roots are deep, it doesn't matter what people say."

You Are the Season — Not the One Waiting for It

  • God changed Moses internally through an encounter with the impossible so that Moses could become stability for an entire nation still living in bondage.
  • Those around you measure what God is doing by open doors and breakthroughs — but for the one God has changed, the checkpoint is different and deeper.
  • The people in your life can only rise as high as what God has cultivated within you.

"You are the season that is changing. Changes inevitable, but you are being changed, but not the outside."

"You have to be the change of the season for them. They can only go as high as what is happening within you."

True Change Is Internal — Confirmed by External Transfiguration

  • God begins by showing you the impossible — as He showed Moses a bush burning but not consumed — to lead you toward spiritual stability.
  • The first level of inevitable change: God calls you through the impossible and you become the source of possibility in impossible situations for others.
  • The second level: what God has done inside you begins to manifest externally — like the transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain, confirmed by witnesses.

"When God is bringing you into spiritual stability, God puts to see your interest in Him. God begins by showing you the impossible."

"When you are entering into the glory dimension, people begin to see you. Before that, no one will really see you."

The Holy Spirit — Not the Season — Is Your Change

  • External upgrades you make for yourself, God will take away, because external change is not real change.
  • Moses left Egypt as a prince; God brought him back as a Hebrew child — stripped of every self-made identity so the change could be genuine.
  • We are not changed by the season; we are changed by the Holy Spirit — what happens around us is not the cue for transformation.

"We are not changed by the season, we are changed by the Holy Spirit. Only the Holy Spirit is our change."

"Every upgrade you make for yourself, God will take it away. Because external changes are not real change."

Key Definitions

Presence of God — Not an emotional or sensory experience, but an audience with God in which He speaks a specific word to you; the defining sign of being in His presence is that there is a word just for you.

Spiritual Stability — The condition of being rooted so deeply in the Spirit of God that external seasons, trends, opinions, and circumstances cannot alter who you are or what you produce.

Season-Changer — A person so transformed internally by the Holy Spirit that they become the source of change, elevation, and flourishing for others — not waiting for conditions to improve, but carrying the conditions others need.

Internal Change — A conviction worked within you by the Holy Spirit through spiritual encounter; it is not immediately visible to others, who will only see its outcomes over time.

External Transfiguration — The second level of God's transformation, in which what has been built internally begins to manifest outwardly and visibly — as in the transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain — confirming entry into the glory dimension.

The Glory Dimension — The realm in which God's internal work in a person begins to be recognized and seen by others; what was done privately now produces visible, undeniable fruit.

Key Takeaways

  • God's investment is in you, not in the season — Praying for your season to change misses the point; God is building something in you that makes you fruitful in every season.
  • You are the season God is sending — Like Moses returning to Egypt, you carry the stability and transformation that others in bondage have not yet accessed.
  • Only the Holy Spirit produces lasting change — External shifts, self-improvement, and circumstantial upgrades do not constitute real change; only the Spirit's work within you does.
  • Deep roots produce consistent fruit — When you are rooted in God's Spirit, you remain evergreen — your effectiveness does not fluctuate with conditions around you.
  • Those around you rise to the level of what God has done in you — Your internal transformation is not only for you; it sets the ceiling for those in your sphere until they encounter God for themselves.

Reflection Questions

  1. Are you praying for your season to change, when God may be calling you to allow Him to change you? What would it look like to shift your prayers in that direction?
  2. How deep are your roots in the Spirit of God right now — and is there evidence in your life that you are bearing fruit regardless of what season surrounds you?
  3. Who in your family, community, or sphere of influence is waiting for what God has been building inside you? What would it mean to step into being a season-changer for them?
  4. In what area of your life are you still depending on external circumstances — a job market, a relationship, a door opening — rather than trusting what God is cultivating within you?
  5. Is there any "upgrade" you have built for yourself that God may be stripping away so that He can replace it with something genuine? How are you responding to that process?

Prayers and Declarations

Opening Prayer

By your spirit, you have continually transformed us into the image of your son Jesus. We thank you that Father through you and the work of the cross we have received eternal life. And we know by virtue of the new covenant that every single need that we have is also covered.
